Stella and Courtney sit down with Coach Casey Halstead, Black Belt under Eddie Bravo 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu, and his daughter, Abigail Halstead.   Abigail talks to us about growing up in the gym with her father, pet peeves on the mat, and who her role models are that she looks up to.  Casey begins by sharing great parenting tips and how he runs his gyms.   He also shares how easy it is to coach his female fighters and how he is going to start a women’s class at his Las Vegas gym.

Stella sits down with Beatriz "Bia" Mesquita, black belt under Leticia Ribeiro, after attending Bia's 3 hour women’s seminar at Andre De Freita’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy.  Bia shares how she began Jiu Jitsu at the young age of five years old, her injuries from training, strict diet, and the advantages of training with women.  Stella also had the opportunity to chat it up with Bonnie Staley from Southern California talking about how Bonnie ended up in Southern California, the Los Angeles Jiu Jitsu Club, and training with women vs. men.

Jennifer Grey, Redline Jiu Jitsu (Edmund, Oklahoma), joins the show to talk about the Girls in Gi's events and how important Shama is to the Jiu-Jitsu community. Jennifer talks about her start in Jiu-Jitsu, working with women on the mat, and the importance of Jiu-Jitsu in her life.

Jessica Dobbs, No Limit Killer Bees (Starkville, MS), joins the show to talk about her history with martial arts and Jiu-Jitsu. Jessica goes on to talk about the support network embedded in the women's Jiu-Jitsu community, Girls in Gi's events, and her plans for the future.

Later, Shama Ko joins the show to talk about how she started in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the stuggles of training and compeeting as a women at a time when many women were not participating in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and how Girl's in Gi's was started. Shama goes on to talk about her medical condition bilateral polymicrogyria. Shama talks about the struggle of dealing with this medical condition, not being able to train, and what people can do to help.

Finally, Denise talk about Jeremy Montes Jr. and how his battle with leukemia has reached a worldwide audience.
